Doug Funnie's Favorite Band

Ahh Nickelodeon.

Anyway, this local, lo-fi group of actual human beings out of Queens is playing a show this Friday. The simplicity of this song/video combination captivated me. You might just see me waiting on line like a chump (DAMN YOU CAKE SHOP AND YOUR "NO ADVANCED TICKETS" POLICY).

SFW

I apologize for the shortness of my last few posts. Due to an internet connection that can be described as Slothy at best,  I havent been able to settle into my usual groove and let some of my ideas percolate.

On a related note, I have recently been delegated Musical Programming duties for my 9-5, which presents a separate challenge of finding 8 hours a day of work appropriate tunes. Surprisingly, some of the surliest rock and rollers crooned some of the most SFW music.

Brother Alton

Let Big Brother Alton show you how it's really done. Another one of my serious favorites. He's been on here EDAS four times and I still haven't even scratched the surface. That is one talented family.

Riffing on Lou

A couple of New York Kids, riffing on another New York Kid's work. Here's A Tribe Called Quest sampling yesterday's song for their own hit.
