Bars all of the country are going to be playing this song tonight. Radio stations are probably going to be tiring this one out too.

Arachnophobia
I've never been one for phobias (except Clowns, seriously) so I don't particularly fear spiders. I do however like that they turn their prey into goo and suck out their insides as lifejuice. I also love this song by in my eyes and ears, the all around most talented band, The Who. This track is a rare one by the most softspoken of the four, an excellent bassist, John Entwistle, who appropriately enough rocked this sartorial number on at least one occassion.
Now just as a side note, that Clowns link above actually directs you to a book called Clowns: A Panoramic History of Fools and Jesters, Medieval Mimes, Jongleurs and Minstrels, Pueblo Indian Delight Makers and Cheyenne Contraries, Harlequins and Pierrots, Theatrical Buffoons, etc. The reason I point this out is that the author of said book is one, John H. Towsen (technically a clown), father of my good friend and Mooniversally known comedian Nat Towsen. Take some time to check it out because it is practically considered the Clown's Bible (I'm also pretty sure that's a brand of Whiskey) and people have actually stopped Nat (also technically a clown ) while he and I were at a bar to talk to him about it. Now that is something to be afraid of... A bunch of rando clowns coming up and trying to talk to you at a bar... I wont be able to sleep tonight.
Also, it was Nat's birthday yesterday so I just want to give a shout out to him and his spectacular show The Moon, which has been so ridiculously amazing as of late and brimming with mind blowing comedy talent. It was just voted "The Best Reason to Walk Under a Bridge and Through an Unfinished Construction Site in Williamsburg, Brooklyn This Winter" right now this very second here on Every Day, Another Song. Just kidding... Just get off at Bedford, walk to N. 11th and take a right... The Window says Bar, you can't miss it. Check it out on Tuesdays at Royal Oak.
Sorry, I guess this was more about clowns.

Tricks and Treats
Halloween is nearly upon us. To help get in the EDAS in the mood (boo'd? no?) I'm feeling like doing a few songs that either involve All Hallow's Eve or it's related cast of famous characters to count down the days until the Great Pumpkin Arrives. I guess for now the Smashing variety will have to do.
