Yo Quiero Anarchy

Have you every done so much work in a day, that at the end, you can only listen to destructive, angry music? As if your production was actually some sort of dark, anti-establishment, Fight Club-esque plot overthrow The Man? Well, that was my day today... Even though one could say that almost every working person (myself included) works for some incarnation of the man... And it was actually for the betterment of "The Establishment"... And it wasn't that dark out...

and then I came home to this...

Awkward Paws

Oh well that doesn't mean I can't do a little Grunge binge...

Expect more where this comes from (Seattle)... It looks like it could be a busy week.

Song #63: Soundgarden - Fresh Tendrils

  1. Alright I have been reading this blog most everyday since its creator turned 25 I guess. Funny story I actually met Matt through classes we were taking so we could ultimately do more for "The Man". Anyways after reading for so long I figured it was time to contribute some beyond participating in the cover clash poll. So I thought I would add info pertaining to the band a little and give a shout out to Sub Pop Records Seattle based label who is responsible for soundgardens first EP and responsible for many of the grunge style bands of the late 80's early 90's. Trivia: One of my favorite musicians is Greg Dulli former frontman of the Afghan Whigs and for those of you who don't know, The Afghan Whigs were the first band to be signed by Sub Pop that were not from the Seattle area instead...drum roll..they were out of Ohio. Thought that was a good piece of trivia. Sub Pop is still around today however they dont seem to capture the great musical talents they once had when they first originated.. don't get me wrong they have some diamonds in the rough and some bands with cult followers but its just not as mind blowing. You can check out their page here http://www.subpop.com/
    Thanks Everyone,
    Sal
