Part of this video takes place 1 block away from my office. That's the Pershing Square Viaduct (not to be confused with a lowly bridge) getting a rare cameo appearance. It runs over Park Avenue, above Grand Central Station and through the Metlife Building (formerly the Pan Am). Here it is a long long time ago.
I literally walk under it's leaky skeleton every day, narrowly avoiding it's darkened drips and army of well fed pigeons. Rarely do I take the time to appreciate it. Beck does a nice enough job enjoying it, as well as the rest of my city.
