I've probably given this more thought than it deserves: The Doors should win the "Light My Fire" clash. They wrote it. It's their song. How often is the cover better than the original? Joe Cocker's "Little Help from My Friends" and Jimi Hendrix's "All Along the Watch Tower." And that's about it. With that time-tested postulate in mind, I recommend handicapping the contest. Apply two votes to every one vote for the Doors. It's not cheating. Really. It's simply helping your readers to see the light (my fire). :-)
